Athina is one of the best apartments on the island, the service is amazing and it’s family owned. With there new apartments and rooms they can offer more diversity and there is always place for everyone. The best way to spend your Greek holiday is at Athina!
Rooms are rather basic, but very very clean, stayed there for a week, the owners are a really nice group of people. Very nice experience, location is somewhat outside o f city centre but this makes it a really nice relaxing environment. Loved my stay there and would probably go again
Athina is a great little apartment complex. very kind family. The complex is close to the city. I can advise. They have build new studios. Walk-in shower. Eveything new.
– staff did not return forgotten headphones!! After check out (11am) we stayed on the property as our bus to the airport only left at 5pm. We spend the day at the pool and in the bar, where all of the staff (small family crew) also is all day. It was only until we were on the way to the bus that I realized my headphones were missing. When I returned and asked to go in the room to grab them the staff started arguing, after which one staff one them gave the headphones back to me from the laundry area (they already found them when cleaning the room at 11 o’clock)
– weirdly organized hotel. all employees had a clear task (which in general can be good), but if only the cleaning lady (who’s there only about 4h a day) can enter the cleaning room it does not make sense. Had to a day for towels or a coffee machine
– cleaning was below expectations. Every other day received new bed linnen, but the rooms (floor, kitchen, bathroom) was not/hardly cleaned during the 11 days we stayed.
– service was mediocre. some staff members were very much not willing to help with the smallest requests and gave you the feeling as if you were keeping them from having fun with their colleagues when asking them a question.
– no WiFi in room, and hardly working in reception/bar/pool
– paid airconditioning (€5 per day)
– from day one we had small ant in our living room
– only single beds available
+ location is ok, not too far from center and beach
+ pool is well-maintained
+ good options for food and drinks in bar
+ bike/scooter rental at hotel

I never met such kind people.
We were a group of 15 boys & they made this trip way better than expected.
The appartments are situated perfectly, close to the sea & harbour.
I’d like to thank them all for the effort & help.
