  1. It’s hard to rate this hotel when you came from another island with a phenomenal stay, but this hotel is definitely not “luxury” as it can be described on some sites.

I think for the price, it’s definitely a great value, especially for Naxos. It’s very central to the bus stop, the beach, even town with a 15ish minute walk.

We were “upgraded to the honeymoon suite” although I’m not sure I’d call it that. It’s a simple room, decent size with a balcony and view of the pool.

Breakfast was simple with not many options, but free, so no complaints with that. The pool is open from 11a – 8p. They do provide free towels for the beach and pool at the front desk, which is nice as well.

They also do not provide free transfers from the port, although supposedly they do from the airport? You have to pay the taxi €20 (cash) for a ride to and from the port. So keep that in mind.

Like previously mentioned, it’s a nice and cheap option compared to other islands, and it’s simple and decent. Would I come back here? Probably not.

  2. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. Upon check in, Eva immediately gave us a map of Naxos and pointed out the best things to do, beaches to visit and routes to get to all of them. She also recommended some absolutely excellent restaurants.
Our room was quiet, comfortable, spacious and spotless!
The best part of staying here was the outstanding hospitality we were shown. When a ferry worker strike meant we were unable to move on to our next stop, Eva did everything in her power to try and help solve the problem and did not hesitate to extend our stay for the two more nights we needed – even though the hotel was due to be closed for the season. Such kindness will not be forgotten.

  3. We had an okay stay here. The best feature is the pool. It is large, and has a nice deep end. The rooms are outdated, have a smell to them. House keeping was friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t very good, often cold. The cappuccinos were almost undrinkable. I wouldn’t stay here again personally. The laundry we sent out from the hotel lost 2 shirts, and damaged another. The honeymoon suite looked completely different then advertised. I think it needs to be renovated.

  4. Holiday
Was supposed to stay here for 4 nights but cut it short and left for Mykonos early. These are the pool towels we were given on arrival. Holes all over them. The hotel outside looks beautiful inside a different story. Faulty Towers without Basil. The whole hotel needs renovating. The reception area dirty. The pool uninviting as it’s roped off. The rooms scruffy and bathrooms old fashioned. Breakfast was also a shocker. Cold eggs stale bread and lukewarm warm coffee. It’s never a four star and I’ve noticed a lot of the higher reviews have come from local people who probably have never stayed at the hotel. It’s saving grace if you can call it that is its location to the beach which is beautiful. I would not recommend.

  5. Rooms and breakfast not 4* level (max. 2*). Bathroom / room equipment very old. Renovation urgently needed. Photos on hotel webside show only few renovated rooms. Breakfast very bad. Coffee / orange juice very poor. All participants of our group were disappointed. The only positive is the location near to the seaside.
