I very much enjoyed my stay here. Basic rooms but lovely garden and pool, and friendly and helpful service. Great location and views of the mountains and sea glimpse, but not touristy. The breakfasts were very satisfying.
Won-der-ful! The rooms themselves are modest, it’s true, not very spacious and the bathrooms are on the dodgy side to be honest…. BUT! You’re hardly in your room when you’re on holiday in Greece, so… The service and the atmosphere are exceptional! Calm, relaxed, quiet ambience combined with personal attention from the staff, custom-made really Greek breakfasts, local honey served, a deep and big enough pool to have fun with friends – everything you can wish for. Loved the place, a combination of good hotel service with really homey family style features! Prices are reasonable. A few things for the manager – if he reads this ever – your room keys are as old as the sea, the whole room locking system should be changed. Also – ONLY ONE electric socket for guests to use – it’s ridiculous, most rooms are occupied by couples and each of the guests has at least two things to plug in! There are sockets for fridges too, but do you really want guests to use those??? Good A/Cs in the rooms tho… anyway, brilliant with room to improve!
Depending on how you look at it this place is value for money, not uncomfortable, basic, backed up by good service or all of the above. The rooms are very very cheap. Whilst the toms and en suite toilets are very basic they are clean. And the Manager is basically a one man band who runs the entire show. From check in and check outs to breakfast, cheese toasties or iced coffees, beers by the pool, print outs, taxis, making honey 🍯 from his own hives 🐝 he basically does it all. And he does it all with a warm genuine smile The cleaning though is done by his mother. Which I thought was a rather endearing touch. The hotel also has an above average pool/pool area by most small to medium hotel standards. It’s also clean and well stocked with deck chairs. I would say the only real niggle was the towels could be cleaner but that was a really minor issue as they changed the towels daily and as often as you asked. I would say a basics but still very comfortable hotel to stay in.
Nice reception. Nice breakfast. Sea view, clean, nice pool. Bad WiFi. The hospitality was great. The owner was very pleasant and he answered me all of my questions. This hotel is a very good option on early summer or late summer if you find an available room. Very close to the hotel is the main road but it has no traffic so no noise observed. Also, you are very close to Karlovasi centre as well as very close (on foot) to the biggest supermarket of the Karlovasi. When I will visit again Samos this hotel will be on my first options.
The lady and her son are very cute and helpful. I love them 😍 I like breakfast so much it is special for everyones request. Pool is enough. The bathroom is so small but it is ok for me. The place is near the sea and port. And you can leave your luggage after check out.
