  1. We appreciated our time here. The room was clean, the staff friendly, the pool was nice. Breakfast was really good. The hotel is very well situated, there is a market, a beach and the port and old town is just 5 min walk away.

  2. I couldn’t recommend Argo more. Location wise it’s perfect because it’s walking distance to the city center, to the beach and to the big parking lot – so one can avoid having to deal with the business in the city center.

Most of all, I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. They all went above and beyond to help me and accommodate me when they were already nearly completely booked due to tourist/summer season. I was able to play musical “rooms” due to limited availability on a last minute basis due to my other accommodations falling through and found that each room had its own perks, layout and charm.

Although Argo has likely grown exponentially, it is still a family run business and that can be noticed in the attention to detail and the genuine kindness. The owner’s wife lives right across the main hotel building, where you can find a congregation of cats often hanging out – a great plus if you are an animal person.

The spa services are great, food tasty, and any additional assistance needed can quickly be rectified or helped out with by staff. There are backgammon and chess sets in the lobby if that is your thing 😉 which it should be in Greece !

Lastly, I am shocked and saddened by the most recent review I happened to read as it could not seem less true given my, and my friends’ experience, with Argo.

I can’t wait to return to stay here, or visit the staff at the very least 🙂

  3. I am appalled by my experience at Argo Boutique Hotel. Paying a hefty €178 per night, I expected a comfortable stay, not a nightmare. The air conditioning unit was malfunctioning for two nights, making the room unbearably hot and sleepless. Despite multiple complaints, the issue was not resolved, and no accommodation was offered.

The heat levels were so high that we had to keep the windows open, which only brought in loud street noises and mosquitos. Finally, on the third day, we were moved to a different room. However, no compensation was offered for the previous two nights of misery.

For the price paid, this is unacceptable. I would have been more comfortable camping. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

    One Star

  4. We stayed here on our recent adventure to Greece. We had a room on the 2nd floor and it was very nice. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The entire staff was very accommodating and gave us suggestions of things to do within walking distance of the hotel. The breakfast every morning was fantastic and who doesn’t want to eat poolside. 😋.

  5. Perfect hotel for a couple days in Naxos. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and updated. Loved our room over looking the pool! Breakfast included is also a great touch!
