This hotel is truly a hidden gem! I almost don’t want to share this place – it’s that good! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail, exceptional service and the thoughtful renovation that honors the building’s history all make for a truly unique stay. This review is for the rooftop only. We stumbled upon this new hotel while walking in the morning. The receptionist kindly gave us a tour and we returned for cocktails and appetizers twice during our trip to Syros. The roof has the most incredible views of Syros and the service is top notch! We hope to stay at this stunning and well designed hotel on our next trip to Syros!!
Accommodation in one of the most beautiful buildings of Ermoupolis, a mansion of 1853 perfectly preserved with celling paintings, which made our stay in the room enchanting. Large high-ceilinged rooms with very good modern aesthetics and respect for tradition. We had guidance from conceirge on what we could do on the island , according to our needs . As for the breakfast included was delicious and had plenty to choose from , attentive to detail , even had Greek breakfast category for those who wanted to experience the whole experience with traditional Greek dishes .

My recent stay at this hotel was ruined by a series of disappointing incidents, which made myself and my party feel undervalued as guests. Firstly, without any prior consultation, two people in our group were accused of one incident during our stay. The first accusation led to a wrongful charge of $350 euros, which was especially frustrating as my friends were not given the opportunity to provide their side of the story. It was brought to our attention as we were leaving. No room for our defense or being brought to the room to show why my friends were being charged. Overall, it was a incredibly poor handling of the situation. The second accusation came days after we had already left the hotel, raising questions as to why we weren’t consulted during our stay or upon checkout.
Moreover, the attitude of the hotel owners and some staff members was incredibly unprofessional. Their snobbish demeanor and apparent disdain for guests who weren’t perceived as high-end clients created a unwelcoming atmosphere. It felt as though we were constantly being watched or monitored, which further added to our discomfort during our stay.
Overall, the lack of communication, unwarranted accusations, and condescending behaviour from the hotel’s management and staff overshadowed any positive aspects of our experience. I would caution future guests to approach their stay with caution and be wary of the treatment they may receive based on their perceived status as clients
An incredible neoclassical building from 1853 in the heart of the city center just 1 minute from the main square Maioulis , comfortable beds and painted ceiling from that century . Alla the stuff was genuine people and always there for us . Everything was clean even the mini bar had decent prices . Thank you for making your holidays unforgettable!!!
