Lovely place! Was quite the steep walk to the waterfalls, and beware, the water probably is cold. Young legs will be fine with good (water) shoes.
Paying with card wasn’t possible, but a wire transfer worked after some cooperation.
Wow! On top of a valley, seeing the beautiful view of the mountains while enjoying a nice lunch that’s cooked with wood fire. Such a joy!
Try the magnificent stairs down to the river, you’ll like it 😈
Didn’t eat but looked great. These guys deserve credit for the entrée spirit in building the steps up and down to the channel. Believe me a deserved beer at Tree top level
Restaurant/taverna just before you start the trip to the Potami waterfall(s). Super sweet staff, beautiful view, hellish stairway to the restaurant, very good food and large portions. You can leave your stuff that cannot get wet for the trip to the waterfalls there.
This is a very nice little restaurant on top of the hill looking over the Potami Waterfall Gorge. The staff is very friendly and you can store your stuff and valuables there while you are taking a swim in the Potami Waterfalls.
We had the Goat and ‘Flute’, which was fried cheese with ham and quite tasty. The goat was excellent and the meat came off the bone by slightly touching it with your fork. They have an oven in the back where the meat is cooked iron pots in the fire/oven.
