Not many exhibits… yet. The extremely kind clerk made us a quick tour and explained us most of the history and the practical problems of the area. Hopefully a new museum would contain a much more coherent and relevant to the area exhibition.
It is a very small museum and perhaps needs to be modernised, but it preserves at least one artefact that is worth seeing: a kouros head, on which remarkable hair appears.
The attendant is really very kind.
Nice place with an endless view, I’m nice to see it!
Small but interesting! The oldest find is a Proto-Cycladic kraterisk. There are many ancient, Roman and Byzantine coins, as well as remains of statuettes, pottery fragments and objects of everyday life.
This is a museum that I usually find closed. This year I made it. Small but worth a visit!
