I ordered mix grill and the meat was not fresh, I saw, how they cut it from the grill outside, my meat was dry. Greek cuisine is always fresh meat, vegetables, tasty, but this time it was just ok, but not very delicious. I give 4 stars only because the owner was so friendly, he speaks different foreign languages. So, mix grill with French fry and salad costs 15,90 euro, a glass of house wine costs 4 euro. I ate, but didn’t get the satisfaction as usually from tasty Greek food.
Friendly family restaurant in a nice shaded plaza away from the noises. Serves fast and tastes deliciously. I wish the grilled octopus is bigger. Other than that no complaints! Complimentary Ouzo to finish off the meal!
22 July 2023: went there, very cute spot at agora, looked decent, we had pork chop and pork kotosouvli. Very sadly, the meat I was given gave me FOOD POISONING, I woke up with nausea, vomiting and with fever for 24 hours. I have receipt and pics to prove I was there, we payed cash because we had electricity cut. I lost one day of my holidays because of them 😡😠
If you ever visit the Rhodes city center, I can highly recommend this restaurant. Classic Greek tavern. Very kind, friendly and quick personel. The food was out of this world. However, it is surely not a place for everyone. It is local, do not expect anything classy. For those loking for a local exprerience, visit this restaurant!
Dined at their neighbour, Qute Lepi, for roast lamb and asked for Lamb leg, but gotten meats other than lamb leg! Also refused to give receipts, no free desserts either. Ordered takeaway Roast lamb here at Aphrodite and asked for Lamb leg, got exactly what we wanted! Kudos to this honest restaurant with friendly bosses & manager! Reasonable pricing & a great portion for 10 euros, too! Read that if two of us were to dine here, they may even serve you free desserts, cheers! Support this Aphrodite Restaurant instead.
