This restaurant in Corfu Old Town very much caters to foreigners so it isn’t the cheapest place around BUT the food is really fantastic. The grilled salmon is among the best I’ve ever had and the Greek salad and Bruschetta were both marvelous and flavorful. There is a nice drink selection there as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you prefer high quality food vs penny pinching.
The staff were very accommodating upon our arrival, even kindly offering to store our luggage for several hours at no extra charge. This gesture was much appreciated and set a welcoming tone.
The service throughout the meal was satisfactory, though there were a few areas where improvements could be made. Unfortunately, the food fell short of my expectations. I ordered the pork gyros and a Greek salad, but both dishes were rather mediocre, particularly given the pricing. The salad, in particular, was disappointing; it contained only a small amount of feta and had barely any olive oil, which detracted from its authenticity. Overall, the ingredients seemed to be of lower quality than what I have typically encountered during my time in Greece.
Regrettably, this was the first occasion in Greece where I felt compelled to send the food back, as I found it difficult to enjoy.

George at the front of house was really welcoming to my family and I (wife & I, my parents and 3 kids- 5, 3 & 1), made loads of effort throughout the meal to interact with us.
Staff were fantastic, clean restaurant, decent music playing etc and they all made a massive fuss of my children.
Food was delicious and freshly cooked, didnt take long to be served, portions were massive too!
My wife is a vegetarian and many restaurants offer minimal out there but Aperto had a range of starters and a couple mains to choose from. She went with 3 starter plates that were big enough portions she was stuffed. The fried zuchinni balls were banging!
The smell of the food attracted us here to then be greeted by the most kindest and welcoming staff.

Lovely restaurant, staff were friendly, the place was very clean and tidy. The food was out of this world, and I could not recommend it enough. The Tzatziki that came with my Gyro was stunning, and I just wish I had more. The sauce that came with the halloumi was also amazing, I think it was a sweet onion chutney that went beautifully together.
