Delicious, friendly, fair-priced restaurant. Very clean, with a relaxed terrace in front to sit outside with a bit of shade. The food was clearly homemade— we recommend the bifteki!
Very nice caffe. In the morning you can enjoy delicious coffee with toast. Cool dinners, tasty meat, fresh salads. And a very nice hostess)
Good Traditional Greek food, Service is perfect.
The ‘must’ souvlaki, and not only, place in the island. Mainly for locals. If you are a tourist you will be lucky to discover it. Tatiana prepares fresh and hand made grilled meats with local ingredients of high quality. Delicious cooked dishes too. Meats in their highs. Try pork steak. Try also local sausages of Kythira (the more spicy version marinated by her butcher in red wine). Fried potatoes are ‘real’. Eggplant salad (made by her) is moving. Combine it with fries. Zuccini sometimes by their own garden. The philosophy here is that of the old grandma cooks in the greek islands. “The food must first satisfy the cook and when and if it does so, we serve it to you”. Escape the resto hype of this island and enter the world of Tsirigotes (locals of Tsirigo, the Byzantine name for Kythira)!!!
The best greek snack point in the centre of the island.
