This was the 1st restaurant in Santorini that me and my husband decided to eat at and let me tell you it was amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was just soo good.
Our first restaurant we visited as we landed in Santorini. We ordered chicken and lamb skewer. Both were very nice and tasty. Atmosphere and service was very good. Very nice staff and manager. 10/10 would recommend!
I was excited to try this place given all of the great reviews. I order the lamb souvlaki but was brought the chicken souvlaki. I told my waiter that this wasn’t what I ordered and she said it was a mistake but the lamb would take another 30 minutes to cook and the table was needed for another reservation later that evening. Nothing was comped for their mistake and I only got one chicken skewer and left hungry. Crazy that this meal was over 20 euros
Amazing dinner. Definitely order the grilled octopus. My husband wished he had ordered 2. We also got the fried calamari which was awesome. Then main course was Lamb shank with crispy fried onions with rice and pork shank with potatoes. Both were great and huge. Reasonable prices. Staff was friendly and prompt. Best service we’ve probably had anywhere. It was clear they were happy to work there.
This restaurant is simply incredible. The staff is so welcoming it almost feels like you are arriving at a family meal. And that’s just the beginning of a fabulous food experience. The food is absolutely delightful, served in enormous portions and it is incredible value! Simply the best and most delicious dining experience in Imerovigli. It is difficult to pick a favourite dish here as having eaten here five times in the past five years we worked our way through the menu, and everything is perfect. However, the fried calamari is the best we have had … ever! The potato salad is a spiritual experience, the fried garlic shrimp is amazing, the pork shank, the lamb shank, the smoked pork steak, the grilled chicken souvlaki, the grilled fillet of sea bass are all exceptional and one simply cannot make a bad choice here! Anogi is an absolute must when in Santorini!
