Our two week stay in Ormos was brilliant. It’s a calm, peaceful and beautiful location, and our accommodation at Anemos Appartements was excellent. The one bed appartment was well-equipped, comfortable, with both sea and mountain view from the balconies. This pool area was immaculate with one of the best outside spaces and pools ever! A fabulous space with loungers and umbrellas. Maria is a lovely person and a warm and welcoming host. She was always on hand to offer any advice or support. Contactable at all times, nothing was too much trouble. Beach towels are provided which was a great asset. The cleaner was brilliant, too, changing towels and sheets frequently. Also on hand for any queries/help. The harbour is pretty, and the beach is minutes away. There are several excellent Tavernas nearby, two bars and a café, a mini market, plus two bakeries.
All the Tavernas are good, but we particularly enjoyed Trata and The Local. Great service and food. There is also a lovely shop selling jewellery and clothes as well as some general gifts.
One of the great assets that needs a big mention is a superb beach bar, just a short walk in the opposite direction from the main part with the Tavernas, called Φαμπηκα (Famprika). This is a really great bar with snacks and drinks on offer. Beach loungers and umbrellas free of charge as long as you buy a drink. It’s an inventive place with great seating and a little ramp going into the sea. A great day out was the Cleopatra boat trip to Samiopoula island, with lunch included! Lovely day trip and worth the money. We will definitely be returning to Ormos and the Anemos appartments!
Nice apartments to stay. Owner Maria is great person, she is always there for any kind of your need. We have stayed 1 bedroom 1 living room apartment. There is a kitchen fully equipped even we can make cookies for our child and refrigerator contains complimentary food and drinks. Apartment is very close to beach. The beach is not sandy but the sea is very clean. There are good restaurants and a market close to the apartment. The negatives are, wi-fi is weak and the beds squeak some .
Great experience, chill days and very comfortable.
