My husband and I spent 4 nights here, we stayed in a superior double caldera view room. It was spacious and always clean. The view was breathtaking. The staff, food and drinks were exceptional. Our service from Fondas the bartender and Nicholas our waiter was excellent. Thanks guys for making our stay the best!
This is about the restaurant alone. While the views appear beautiful when you first arrive at the island you can actually find them at lots of locations and most likely for much cheaper. We were recommended to come here for the sunset. It was pretty but when the wait staff is upset at you for ordering a salad, and they add 6 euros per person for things you have not ordered it takes the shine from the location. Would just avoid in the future.
The service was excellent except having to ask for an iron four times before it was delivered to my room, but still a five star experience for service because we had a large party that arrived before check-in time and they worked really hard to get everyone into their rooms. My room was the only one that wasn’t ready but I just stored my luggage until it was ready in the afternoon. Shout out to those bellmen because they scurry the luggage around like champs! Also, be prepared to walk some stairs. The hotel is built into the cliffside so it has multiple levels. They do have elevators for some portions but not all. And even if you take the elevator to near your floor, you still have stairs to the rooms or other areas of the hotel like the event spaces. This hotel is definitely not for those who have mobility issues. On the flip side, the scenery you get from being cliffside is unbeatable. The sunset is the best I’ve ever seen. The centralized location is also fantastic. The room that I had was a bit of a disappointment. After waiting all that time to even get my room, it seemed like they put me in one that still needed remodeling because the decor was severely outdated compared to the rooms the rest of my party had. We had an event at the hotel so luckily, I didn’t have to spend too much time in the room, but still, sub-par in my opinion. I really would have liked to give 5 stars but still worth the stay – just make sure you get an updated room.
We booked a suite for 2 nights and the view is very good therefore the level of services were not up to a minimum standards
First morning coffee machine was broken and it was replaced.
Morning room service breakfast was delivered cold
Someone came to clean up our breakfast without knocking on our door and remove the tray while we still in the room
Housekeeping services was just not done and the room was not cleaned during our stay and laundry bag was forgotten next to our entrance door
We have met with Niko the operation manager and he was totally unprofessional
While addressing above comments, he basically stated that was our mistake as i have said to the housekeeping not to clean the room which is not true. He was lying to us and try to push the fault on us
Manager Niko was very rude and he was just smiling on our face when addressing serious comments
We have never experienced such a negative behavior from someone in hospitality industry
We do not recommend this hotel as beside the view , all the rest is just poor
You can find much better hotels near by , we will not do the same mistake twice….
Loved everything about the hotel. My first contact was with Pakistani that helped us with stuff and I was surprised welcoming he was and how many languages he spoke.
Entire staff we came in contact with was excellent. Proffesionals.
