Modern and well equipped apartment. Very quiet. Free parking and within one minute walking distance to cafés and bars. Very friendly landlady. Always prompt with answers and tips for the day.
Wonderfully quiet, yet a 2 minutes walk to ‘downtown’ Avlemonas (it’s a very cute and quite a small village). The apartment building looks like it is brand new, but Anastasia told us it’s build in 2011. So that’s saying something about how much care and attention is being paid to the building.
There’s a private balcony but you can also sit in front of the apartment to catch a breeze from the nearby sea.

Intended to stay for one week…..and stayed for 3 weeks. Have already booked for next year. Anastasia is a happy helpful lovely lady who loves to clean!!!!! The studio was spotless and serviced every day.

A wonderful host. Anastasia made our stay in Kythira unforgettable. We happily visited property for third time. You can always ask for information, local activities and sights – she is ready to give any information you may need. The studios are extremely clean, spacious and well equipped. Comfortable bed with breathing spring mattresses which are important in the hot weather. She specially provided pure cotton bed covers, since we couldn’t sleep with synthetic ones. The other important things are reliable WiFi connection, well equipped kitchen, clean quality ACs providing cool fresh air /something usually rare/. Avlemonas, where the studios are, is small picturesque village with strategic location in the middle of the island from which you can easily visit every spot on Kythira.
You can also ask for fresh fish, Yorgos, Anastasia’s husband is a fisherman and if you have luck can try some unique and rare fishes as Lepura, sfyraína /barracuda/, Loútsos ….

I highly recommend this place. It’s in a great location, it has everything you can possibly need, and Anastasia is one of the most hospitable people you will ever meet anywhere in the world. I look forward to staying here again in the summer.
