Go here!! So much food we had to take half of the plate to go after stuffing ourselves with delicious salad, gyros chicken from the spit and tender slow braised stifado beef. Owner is generous and friendly, and the take out orders were busy all night which means locals are ordering this food often 🙂 cute courtyard tables too. Very cheap for abundance of food compared to the tourist traps a few blocks away.
I know the owner since the taverna was in the previous location, unfortunately it has been damaged in the last earthquake.
Even if it is not in the center of Kos town, it’s at walking distance from the Marina, and I often see here dining guests and crews from yachts.
The place is basically a grill, meaning their main courses are grilled meat.
However, they also have – according to season – vegetables and typical main courses and appetizers of the Greek tradition. Always ask Mr Manolis for the plate of the day!
Also important are the prices, value for money.
You will enjoy it as do many locals that eat here and order delivery food.
