Room is well appointed and relatively tidy, but there are some drawbacks you should be aware of. We found some stains that appeared to be blood stains on some of the pillows. The end tables in our room had wet paint on them (they painted over some coffee stains), but we weren’t told about that. Instead we found out when we saw paint on our belongings, which fortunately washed off. According to the manager, the wet paint is something we should have been prepared for since we asked for early check in. If we checked in at 3, the paint would have been dry. Of course we were never told that when we checked in.
There were ants in our bed and on the pillows. We called the manager to show him at almost 11pm. He moved us to the adjacent room, which also had ants on the bed. When I advised him that this room also had ants, he said there was nothing he could do as he didn’t have any more rooms.
When I asked for a partial refund, he got defensive but ultimately agreed to refund 50% if we put in a claim through Airbnb. Of course when I requested the refund through Airbnb, he rejected it. I tried to get help from an Airbnb representative, but no luck.
Save yourself the hassle. It’s possible your room may not have ants, but do not expect management to work hard to help you feel comfortable. They certainly didn’t make that effort with us, just made us feel guilty for not wanting to sleep with ants.

Had a most memorable experience! Theonasis and his wife are wonderful hosts. Our room was huge with the most amazing cave like bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Town was within walking distance. Our stay here was great!
This is a good hotel, but its facilities are too basic for the price of one of its rooms. I was there at the beginning of October, which is not considered high season for Santorini. Consequently, I expected to pay less. There were many hotel rooms to be had, but I chose this one based on description and reviews. The room is indeed larger than many others in Santorini, but the location is disappointing. The pool area is unusable because the hotel is on a very busy road and the noise level when you are trying to relax by the pool is intolerable. Breakfast is ordinary and repetitive. Shower room is exceptionally large and comfortable to use. The area around the hotel has a couple of mini-markets and a few restaurants, so you never have to go far to find what you need.
