George was a great guy and his little apartment block is a great budget stay in Perdika, 15 mins steady stroll to the harbour in a quiet spot on Aegina.
The room Was spotless and did us for what we needed. We didn’t expect 5* and it wasn’t, but it is a great budget apartment stay.
The harbour is great for food and drink
Rooms were simple and clean, though bathrooms definitely need a renovation. Chairs in the terrace need fixing. Breakfast is very basic. It’s not a pet friendly place, although it could be. The owner told us we must keep our small dog in a car. Even though nobody complained about it. He also said he had had a lawsuit because of a dog- probably a lie to scare us. Not staying there again.
We had a good time. The service was ok though the staff could try to be a bit more outgoing. Rooms are fine however, the bathroom was a bit dated and should definitely be renovated (the sink was clogged and the tiles just look worn out).
Lovely host, small cosy apartment style room with cooker, fridge and large balcony. Ideal location only 15-20 from aegina port – I suggest hiring a car, quadbike or scooter to get there, and to see other parts of the island.
