This was the preferred beach bar in Kalithea for me and my family last year – 2023.
This year, however, there are some changes.
Two sunbeds and one umbrella require a minimum consummation of 60 Euros.
This in itself is not an issue, as I find the prices quite reasonable. Cocktails are 10 Euro, Beer is 7.
Best thing is the food, everything is super delicious. I recommend the chicken/pork souvlaki and the chicken/pork gyros.
The sunbeds are also fewer than last year. They are also very close to each other, which I did not like.
The sea bottom was also quite rocky this year, unlike the last one.
First row sunbeds are almost always reserved for the locals and can rarely be used, if you don’t know someone, it seemed.
As a whole though, I recommend the place, nice music, amazing food, reasonable prices.
The price is reasonable – 60 euros per umbrella. You might pay less in other beach bars but trust me its not worth. Beach is perfect with sand and the water is not deep. You can eat and drink all day for the money you paid. The food and drinks are really good. I recommend risotto with chicken and fruit dish. We were almost in every area of kassandra and this is by far the best beach.
Almira Kitchen and Beach Bar is an excellent choice for families with children. The sea is truly beautiful, with a sandy bottom that remains shallow for a long distance. To use the facilities, purchasing a drink is sufficient. Unlike many places in the Halkidiki region, having showers available was a key factor for us. In the afternoon, natural shade forms, providing a perfect escape from the sun. There’s great music playing, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. Next to the bar, there is an area where you can set up your own umbrella and chairs for free. Parking is free, but it can be challenging to find a spot when it’s crowded.
Great beach bar! We loved it! You get sunbeds for free with any consumption. Prices were ok, drinks around 5-6e and food around 7e. The food was great, we tried several things but the fruit salad is 10/10. The staff was nice and helpful, too.
The owner (a bald head with a beard) is very uncultured and rude, he usurps all the surrounding parking spaces, determines who can park where and when, we didn’t even get to the beach, but he started yelling at us and threatening to block us with his car, because we stopped in a free parking spot. And for some reason it didn’t suit him, but it suited him to take up two spots with his motorcycle so that no one could park.
