I was looking for a quiet place to have authentic Greek food. Alma fit that bill and so much more. My table was 5 meters from the water, the staff were very helpful in describing the food, and yes, the food was excellent. I could go into great detail, it is better to go there and experience a great restaurant. I am leaving tomorrow, but am planning to have lunch at Alma.
have been coming for multiple years, but standards have slipped in previous years. since relocating from the seafront to the kris mari hotel, the quality is not as good as it used to be.
our dinner arrived cold and the “fresh veg” was frozen… the service was disappointing and slow. however, the free wine was great!

Popped in for breakfast, Dinner and Tea, over the week of our holiday. Sevan and Athena are lovely polite and friendly. The food here is lovely. The atmosphere is very relaxed.
We visited Alma as a recommendation from the receptionist at the cleopatra superior and cannot fault the service or the food we received.
The food was absolutely beautiful and the complimentary bottle of white wine is extremely generous from the hotel and it made our experience even better.
The wait staff are amazing, couldn’t find a single fault if we tried. Both young girls were amazing, very attentive but not in your face.
The only fault we can note from our experience is the rude table sat near us, it is always astounding to see how rude tourists can be. They seem to forget we are all HUMAN and can make a mistake!
However, overall the service is spectacular and the food is even better! And for the price paid you wouldn’t expect food this good! Cannot recommend this place enough!
