Attractive restaurant that achieves a clever trick of combining traditional taverna dishes at reasonable prices alongside more complicated (and expensive) dishes. We went up scale and greatly enjoyed the salad with a trio of marinated fish (including tuna and salmon), fried potatoes with feta and tomato and grilled red snapper. The fresh fish is expensive by any standard (€85/kg) but very good quality. You could get very good value by choosing the more traditional menu items. Good list of Greek wines including from Syros. The location gives fantastic sunset views.
What could be better, beautiful food on the beach as the sun sets on the sea lapping at your feet..
Lovely place to eat (a bit expensive however), delicious food, right by the sea. They also treated us with a mastic liquor after our meal.
Location: very good
Service: unacceptable. They welcomed us by saying: we will squeeze you in the corner. The staff was very arrogant and borderline impolite.
Food: I am used to Greek cousine and Greek spices. This was something different. The different parts of the meals just did not match with each other. The octopus looked as if it was fished in an oil rig. But these are all subjective. What is not subjective is the price. Everything was overpriced, even for an island in the tourist season. We ended up paying around 148€ for two adults and a toddler. And that is without wine.
Nice place at a great location The food was quite good BUT the service was terrible Waiters were running around without coordination It took 15 minutes for someone to take our order Then they brought the main dishes with 25 minutes difference
Noone cared if we liked the food or not or if wanted so order something else
Also the place was very noisy as they gad music and everybody had to speak loud
