The first time we came to this hotel we had a great ground floor room with easy access for the baby and stroller. We had multiple beds which was great for the kids and myself and partner. We had an amazing time in the pool, the food is spectacular and everyone was very welcoming. A few months later we were in Turkey arriving to Rhodes and it dawned on us to just go back to where we loved. Of course as soon as we arrived it felt like coming home… we were remembered by the manager and staff at the front desk. Very kindly we were upgraded to a beautiful room and the views were just *chefs kiss. My son LOVES the pools and play area… including the beach. We love the food, drinks, atmosphere and we all feel very well taken care of. We absolutely love this hotel and we can’t wait to come back again.
Honestly it’s very safe, everyone here goes above and beyond- you feel like you’re home and everything is taken care of for you.
As I said above we can’t wait to come back and enjoy a summer holiday 🙂
This hotel is not a 5 star hotel
First off we paid for a bungalow with a garden view and we were in a terrace with a pool view ( not that I’m complaining about the view ). We went to the reception to ask about it and hopefully set it straight and they said this is a bungalow in Greece, however this is not the pictures I was shown nor is it a bungalow since we had people on either side of us and below us. We booked a bungalow to be secluded and alone.
Secondly, the food… claims to be an American style buffet yet there was no sausages, bacon , hashbrowns etc. what you would normally expect from an American style buffet. Lunch and dinner there’s no variety and very bland food however there’s no food for you if you have a picky child or are picky yourself, no chicken nuggets or burgers etc.
They don’t have any Coca Cola or any name brand soft drinks, which at a “five star “ you’d expect name brand soft drink and not cheap cola. No ketchup or mayonnaise. And yet they didn’t really have “Greek food” other than a salad.
If you want a drink by the pool you have to walk more than five minutes to get one as the bar by the pool was closed and looked abandoned. Which as you can imagine was very inconvenient and annoying.
In our room ( not sure about others) if we used the bath or shower the whole floor would get flooded , and the bath moved it wasn’t fixed into place.
However not the entire experience was horrible , the cleaners and staff were lovely and the cats walking around were adorable. It’s an okay hotel , definitely not 5 stars though.
My partner and I are in the middle of a week stay at the hotel and honestly I feel most people are slightly picky about things, I respect it’s meant to be a 5 star hotel (probably closer to 4) but the hotel has clearly taken a hit during harder times ( similar to most hospitality and the issues Rhodes had not long ago on top of COVID) the view is amazing the staff are amazing, the food is good but we are not picky eaters and generally are easily pleased. The hire car is inexpensive unless you want to book a fancy car ( small hatchbacks for €30-45 per day, convertibles for €70 per day) only real downside we have experienced is that unfortunately our room is west facing so we are restricted for some sun and the area is well renowned for it’s sea breeze but that’s nature and unfortunately you can’t change that.
Overall so far I am enjoying my stay and I’ll likely continue to enjoy it for the rest of the week i am here.
Great hotel. A complex of modern, colorful bungalows with amazingly sensitive and responsive staff and management to the needs of visitors. A great place for those people who want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of big cities. For those wishing to explore the sights of Rhodes, renting a car is necessary.
Currently here and cannot wait to get home! It’s the most boring hotel I have ever stayed at. 200% not 5* if you are working the time scale to cancel your holiday – I suggest you jump at it!
No entertainment and no life about the place day or evening. Beg your pardon – they have some kind of French entertainment but nothing for English speaking.
Food is poor at best! Same food breakfast lunch and dinner.
No one attends the pool or its upkeep/cleanliness. One bar only serves beer or wine!! Other is ok, just ok!
Shop is an absolute rip off and you are quite literally in the middle of nowhere and no other shops bars hotels around. Worst trip I’ve ever been on and to think this was a surprise for my daughter – absolute rubbish! Actually can’t wait to leave but still 3 loooooong boring days to go!! Avoid at all costs
