Fantastic seafood – although it made me surprised most of the dishes were made of frozen produce, which is surprising given the proximity to sea.
Great appetizers – tzatziki plate and fried feta with honey and sesame – definitely surprising combination of flavours I really enjoyed. Grilled octopus was very decent but not exceptional, fried calamari were very very good!
Great home wine and ouzo – nice servis, but the price was little higher, compared to other restaurants nearby, but then – it’s seafood.
All in all very nice experience and great meal.
The best fish taverna in Kythira by far. Amazing food, must try the tiganopsomo, fagri, tzatziki is handmade, and the kalamaria was so nice. Food was awesome so we went twice we liked it so much. Friendly waiters, on the beach with amazing uninterupted sea view. Do your self a favour and include this spot for dinner or lunch.
We had the octopus with wine sauce and it was nearly inedible- we weren’t told it was frozen octopus that had been in vinegar until after. Nothing was too great and it was hard to track down a server. Overall not great.
Very mediocre… green beans were overcooked, the stuffed calamari was not properly cooked (and stuffed with lots of cheese) and the cod had minimal favour.
People super nice, food super delicious.
