Service here was absolutely outstanding. Each staff member was kind and made an effort to accommodate us with whatever we needed. We loved the pools, our room and the dining options at the restaurant. Convenient walk to Mykonos town and relatively easy to get to the beach clubs. Would stay here again!

I want to preface this review by mentioning that my friend and I are active 24 year old’s. For location, this was the BEST option to mykonos town because it was not directly in mykonos town. We went the first week of May and there was no noise, but if you are someone that does not plan on partying in mykonos town, it might not be the best decision to stay there in peak season. I don’t think most people realize what mykonos town is. Imagine a cave full of hotels, stores, restaurants, and bars on top of each other. So your hotel can be directly on top of a bar or right next to a shop. It can get busy and noisy. For people that cannot make the walk up from mykonos town to the resort, I think it is best to stay in mykonos town regardless of noise. The amount of money you spend on a ride back up can be costly. Walking down to the town was not bad. For us being active, it was a hilly walk back up, but we would do it again.
Rooms
We were actually upgraded to the villas, but we saw both regular rooms and the villa. Both were beautiful, but the villa was more modern. We enjoyed the balcony and watching the sunset. We also enjoyed how close the pool and jacuzzi were.
Service
I was shocked to be treated so well by the hotel staff. As black people, we always have to question if we are picking a safe country or area when traveling. The people of Greece treat everyone with love and respect. The hotel staff treated us like family. We were so thankful. Every second, they wanted to accommodate us in every way possible. If I return to Mykonos, I will 100000% be returning to Aeolos.
The only thing I would like to mention is payment processing. I lost my card so the initial payment for the resort did not go through as I ordered a new one. They handled it so nicely and let me pay upon arrival. However, it took 2 weeks after we left for the payment to be charged. My friend also had the same issue. We had dinner at the resort (which was delicious) and his card was charged that night. We have different banks (Wells fargo and bank of america) and he was also charged 2 weeks later. We have good jobs, so it did not hurt us, but imagine if we did not have that amount of money in our accounts. Maybe this happens sometimes, but I’ve traveled to so many countries and I’ve been charged within the week at least. Everything else we spent money on in Greece was deducted the same day or next from our account. Again, not an issue, just something to help the staff or people that don’t have the biggest income.

The owner Panos went around and make sure everyone is well taken care of. Very friendly and helpful.
Bonus is the sunset view around the top of the hill within the hotel. If you ask, they will drive you there in the buggy.
