I was truly pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The location is obviously grand – the best part of the beaches in Kryopigi, which is probably the best location in the first finger… But other details made a bigger impression: the level of cleanliness! The first place I visit where every morning the garden paths are cleaned with foam… the gardens are very well taken care of! The food is absolutely fresh and very well balanced – a bit of everything to meet each taste. The service was high level: and I mean everywhere- room service – the ladies cleaned even without being asked, restaurant – Ronaldo was an amazing waiter – constantly thinking how to improve your experience and your mood, beach – very considerate! Live music every evening improved the atmosphere – not too noisy, good taste. The pools are with sea water, which is so much better than the usual maintenance chemicals! Those little details really made it for me and we will come back here again soon!
A wonderful hotel with beautiful surroundings, gardens, and pools. The rooms are very nice, spacious, and have comfortable beds. Most have a view of the gardens, the pools, and even the sea. The beach has plenty of sets of chairs and umbrellas as well as beds (there is a small fee to use them), a nice beach bar, and an a la carte restaurant. There are several golf style buggies that can take you between your room and the beach if you don’t want to walk.
All the staff in every area are friendly, courteous and very helpful. There are so many names to mention and thank for their great service. George Farkonas the supervisor, George Tsolakis and Kosmas who are both the Maître d’, Kosta and Spartakos the head chefs, Waqaas, Stavros, Kalin the main chefs, and all of the rest of the lovely staff in the restaurant, Shabbir, Katerina, Vantim, Angelos, Apostolos, Evelina, Maria, Jonathan, Thomai, Dimitra at the cake stall. The choice of food in the restaurant is plenty full and outstanding. There is a wide choice for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Very few hotels offer this kind of top quality and choice of food.
Used the spa twice and had two massage treatments with Florida and Nassia. Amazing girls. The spa manager Melissa is very kind and helpful. Overall, it was an amazing 5-star experience. Thank you for your hospitality, Aegean Melathron. Can’t wait to return.
If you are NOT a foodie and if you don’t care about the price- quality equality- this is your place! The only five star thing in the hotel iare the gardens and beautiful buildings. Disappointed
Quite surprised by some of negative reviews on this property. Rooms definitely little outdated but still very comfortable.
Buffet for dinner and breakfast was absolutely brilliant every day with great choice and fresh produce. Service in restaurant and in general excellent.
Grounds and beach are the best thing about this hotel and everything is extremely well looked after.
The parking could maybe be changed so that if you’re staying in the front side (which costs more), you’re actually guaranteed a space there.

Visited the beach for a day, amazing crystal clear waters, white sand, convenient prices. 10€ pro set umbrellas at the beach, 8€ at the grass field. Menu available scan online on the spot, free wifi access granted. Location is great, but the sea is only white sand, suited only for swim in far distances. I’d not recommend if you plan for a diving session as there nothing underwater except sand, for at least 1 Km along the shore, and you must swim at least 600m deep to reach aquatic life.
