  1. This hotel was worth every penny we spent, some people on here are expecting a five star hotel for a very cheap price! We paid £400 for a week all inclusive hotel and it’s mainly been a very positive experience.
Accommodation- Accommodation was clean and the beds were actually pretty comfy for hotel beds! Bathroom was all fine but the water was a bit salty but was fine to shower in but I’d recommended bottled water to brush your teeth!

Food- Food was not the best and I didn’t eat much variation, but even as a picky eater I managed to eat at breakfast lunch and dinner! The tzatziki and feta were so yummy! The meat was always over cooked. But even if you’re a fussy eater like me i’m sure you can find something to eat, it’s buffet style food and buffet style quality.

Bar- The bar staff at this resort are so lovely especially Spiros! Lots of cocktails to choose from on the all inclusive menu, would’ve like a bit more variation but for the price we paid was well worth it! The cheese pastries by the pool bar as well are so delicious I couldn’t stop going back for more. If you want a strong drink, here’s the place for it! They stop serving alcoholic drinks after 11pm but we knew that when we booked and the water was only 60 cents which we’d grab for the night!

Staff- Once again all the staff were super lovely, the receptionists were always smiling and welcoming when you came in. They answered all our questions and helped us with some noisy neighbours. Bar staff were so lovely and Spiros makes a delicious sex on the beach cocktail! The service staff in the restaurant were always accommodating and made sure you had everything set up for dinner! The cleaners were incredible and the room was always spotless when we came back to it after they’d been!

Beach- Although there is A LOT of seaweed I would say it’s not the biggest deal. The view from the beach is gorgeous and if you walk a little bit down to your right you can swim in the sea. Free sunbeds for use down there too!

Pool- Pool was a bit cold for me but lots of other people swimming in it, the pool area is spotless and toilets and showers dotted around. We went in october so it was so peaceful and quiet and lots of sunbeds for choice.

Location- Location is okay, there is a little supermarket down the road which is quite pricey but perfect to grab a drink and snacks from. A taxi into Kos cost us €35 so don’t let the taxi people overcharge you! But if you walk both ways you’re bound to find something for you!

Cats- The cats here are so lovely, some very nervous, others not so much! If you get to meet the grey and white cat who sits in reception a lot and is very friendly she is so lovely and adorable, we even named her ‘bug’!

Entertainment- I think entertainment was the only thing missing, it can be pretty quiet throughout the day and only really music plays in the bar. We did a walk around and saw there was a theatre with entertainment but it was only in German so we couldn’t understand.

Overall our stay at Achilleas Beach Hotel has been brillant for the good price we payed! I would definitely come back again and nothing is so awful to of put me off. Well done Achilleas Beach Hotel you made this a lovely stay!

  2. This is a hotel we will never be visiting again and we are so thankful for our travel agent who managed to sort out a transfer to another hotel on our 2nd day of a 12 day holiday so we could at least enjoy the other 10 days.
The food was kept just luke warm in the hotplate so by the time we got back to the table it was pretty much cold. The food didn’t taste that great either, or should I say, it didn’t really taste of anything at all.
The beach would have been really nice if it wasn’t full of huge piles of seaweed.
The room was ok, but for a 2 star hotel.
As this is a 4 star hotel, the condition of the room is not acceptable.
Part of the ceiling was falling down, the toilet seat wasn’t fixed properly and the shower head bracket was loose.
On our 2nd, and thankfully last night here, we were awoken at 4 in the morning to the overwhelming smell of sewage. Blocking the drains and plugholes and overflows from the bath and sink and opening every door and window didn’t really help either.
The tap water is not drinkable and there is no possibility to get drinking water from the hotel outside of the restaurant opening times.

  3. Lovely stay at achilleas beach hotel. The location is wonderful and it’s a very peaceful, relaxing hotel.
The rooms are spacious and have everything you need.
We were particularly impressed with the amount of cocktails available on the all inclusive menu. Must mention Maria as she was friendly and always smiling at the pool bar.
We enjoyed the selection of food and as vegetarians we always found something that we could eat.
A lovely hotel for couples and a relaxing holiday.

  4. I’ve been there with my girlfriend and family. Actually, we really enjoyed the one week all inclusive vacation, the location is great, the staff is very nice and friendly. I also like that it is small buildings and not a big Hotel complex. The beds are comfortable and the small distance to the beach is very nice.
Why I still rated service and rooms only three stars:
Service: My girlfriend, her two kids and me are vegetarians. The all inclusive buffet looks very nice, but for vegetarians the cooks should be more creative. Vegetarian food is more than just side dishes and salad!!
Rooms: some of the them should be renovated, the showers in a bathtub-style is very inconvenient and out of date, especially when the glass door doesn’t prevent from leaking. After showering the whole bathroom floor got flooded. Also the doors and door handles have been in a very bad condition, it was not possible to open or close the door to the bathroom quietly, same with the door to the other room.

  5. very well positioned in the center of KOS in a quiet area that allows you to easily reach the whole island with movements of max 30 minutes (by car) … this structure is nice and clean, the food is simple but of quality and is also good for children (we a 3 year old girl). the rooms are nice, clean and very large the bathroom is large only the shower head can be improved … a note of respect to all the staff of the Achielleas Beach resort who are super friendly and helpful .. non-invasive and German animation because the clientele main is from Germany … I reality recommend this structure Nicola
