I love Matala so I come here often especially that I live in Heraklion it’s very close by and the energy of the place is one of a kind. This was my first time staying at Orama and I’m so so so in love with the place. Great location with the view to the mountains, looks like super new pool (not functioning yet as early in the season), refurbished rooms, the shower is awesome, breakfast and host, really really great, very very pleased 🩵🩷💜💛
Simply great. The owner is exceptionally welcoming. You can park inside. The pool is lovely, clean, and I would stay there for hours. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is good. You can walk to Matala beach easily. I am sure we will go back!

we had such an amazing stay there. Stelios and his family are the best hosts i have ever experienced. The rooms are simple, the garden and the swimming pool are really nice! The people in this Hotel are amazing. I’m not only talking about the host, but also the other guests.
It is very easy to make new friends sitting together in the common areas in the evenings. In the same time, if you wish to have your private time, nobody bothers either. We came as guests and felt we left as friends.
We have been coming to Orama for 16 years. The owner Stelios always makes sure our stay is perfect. We also enjoy the people who come here with a last minute bargain for sometimes only 200 EU per person including the flight and then they start to complain about room size or breakfast. Come on people, what do you expect? Price quality is perfect! And a friendly welcome is guaranteed for everybody who respects that.
