Pleasant resort. It was nice and peaceful with no kids around. We had a ground floor room with a pool, which is shared by 8 rooms. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time as other people preferred to go to the communal pool.
My only gripe with the room would be that there was nowhere to hang or stack larger towels in the bathroom (only hooks were by sink for hand towels). There was a drying rack outside for wet clothes and towels. The only place for towels is next to the sink(this is where the cleaners usually leave them), which takes away your space for toiletries, plus it’s not an ideal place with water splashing etc.
Wasn’t a huge selection of food choices(unlike other resorts we’ve been to), but the food was fresh and nice with enough variety, and we enjoyed it.
The restaurant staff were always smiling, pleasant, and helpful. The rooms were cleaned and tidied every day, with our fridge being topped daily also.
The cocktails and alcohol weren’t watered down, and we never had to wait long to get a drink (unlike the family area).
All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!
This is a great place to stay and enjoy your holiday on Kos. Kardamena is situated outside the city but very well situated to get around the island. Rent a car and and drive to a different part of the island daily to come back to one of 3 mainpools or the pool in front of your room. Super! Entertainment in adult only is very nice and in the main area great for families with kids.
Far enough to the sea, for food. We had to walk up to 6 km a day. Beautiful view and the park made up for it though.
