It’s said theres no bad food in Greece… here it is!!!
Spent 30€+ for two (just food) and left hungry. We tried to order the Lamb and they don’t have it but they suggested another lamb but what they didn’t say was inside the shredded lamb rolled around liver and kidney or heart of the lamb which have a very strong flavour but we were so hungry so set it aside and then we ordered another meal the pork skewers but it turns that the pork skewer were tasteless and dry. So we spent €30+ and still hungry. With all our stay in Greece I would say this was first and only bad meal that we had
We had a gyros sandwich and a chicken kebab. The meat in both dishes was completely dry and did not taste fresh.

Just wow! We just finished eating here and I have never written a review this quickly for anywhere and I have almost 300 reviews. We were scootering around the island when we rode into Emperio. My eye caught the meat turning on the spit and my nose did the rest of the decision making. Walked in I knew right away that I was about to have something very special. I ordered the pork (not gyro, but the one with bones). I can easily say it was not just amongst the best porks I’ve ever had, but perhaps the best. Coming from an extreme foodie and the number of places I’ve tried, that is a big statement. Everything is absolutely fantastic and authentic, which is hard to find in Santorini. Amazing amazing amazing. Food lovers, make the trip, you won’t regret it.
