The picturesque scenery, especially from rooms with outdoor hot tubs, remains the highlight of the experience, illustrating why guests can’t help but return.

Moments that Matter – Family Gatherings

While many have experienced the warmth of hospitality, it’s crucial to underscore moments of significance like family get-togethers. However, some guests have noted instances where the strictness of house rules regarding visitors limited their enjoyment. It’s essential to find a balance between privacy and hospitality, ensuring guests feel at home.

Room Cleanliness and Comfort

Feedback reflects a general consensus that the rooms are well-maintained and tidy. Despite minor criticisms regarding towel softness and some bathroom amenities, guests appreciate cleanliness. Each room provides a comfortable sanctuary amidst the busy sightseeing locations in Santorini.

Hot Tub Expectations

One common point of discussion among reviews is the hot tub experience. While some guests enjoyed their private settings, others found the amenities lacking or malfunctioning. Having a functioning hot tub is paramount, as guests expect it to complement their vacation—something to bear in mind while selecting your room.

Balancing Comfort and Service

Several reviews highlight experiences involving the hosts varying from warm and accommodating to overly watchful. While many appreciate a high level of service, it’s crucial for visitors to feel secure and comfortable during their stay. 1. We had the junior honeymoon room and it was perfect! Lovely sized living space and bed. The bed was a little hard but ok. Shower was open so the floor got a little wet but dried in no time. The best bit was the hot tub looking over the caldera. Virtually not overlooked and view wass stunning. Other rooms had hot tubs in different places or no tub, this is purely based in the room we had

When arriving, the family live just past the entrance. One of them is usually sat outside and there is a washing line, sometimes with towels. It is family run with 3 generations often there. All super friendly and accommodating

We didn’t have breakfast but the neighbours did and it looked good. I think there was a boiled egg and toast. The room was serviced every day with bins and towels changed

For taxis, ask them to drop you off at the taxi rank just past the church. Same for picking you up. Always pre-order! We used booking.com

It was pur honeymoon and very happy

  2. Very good views from the room. The room is clean and tidy. The main problem is the host as many others have commented. This is run by a family who stays in the same block. They watch our every movement. We have had our friend’s stay far off and they came over for a tea but the host wouldn’t allow them even to step in. We mentioned that this is only for tea and they will leave soon but the host was adamant and they didn’t let us. That with such a rude behaviour. We were having a get together of two families after 20 years and we thought Santorini would be the best place.

The host was really annoying. They had very few cooking utensils and nothing to make a tea. We asked for a smaller sauce pan and after 2 days they returned with one. We had the feeling that we are always watched which is not nice. During the stay they managed to give the nearby room to somebody else and we were to share the hot tub. Even though it said private, the one that we had was not working. Overall the place was really nice but the host ruined it for us. Wouldn’t recommend.

  3. A very unpleasant experience. I really not recommend this hotel.
We are a couple with our son and two elderly people, they over 70 years old, a total of five people, although the order indicates four people. This is no problem, we can add the appropriate amount to check in every hotel on this trip.
And this store contacted the hotel in agoda apps and wanted to ask or inform. First of all, the first question was to ask how to get to the hotel, and there was no response at all from the question to the check-in. So I didn’t ask or tell more details, just like talking to the air.
When I came near the hotel, the area was like a maze, I couldn’t find the location of the hotel, I had to google the hotel and call to ask for the location. Because my English is not good, I have been on the phone for a long time, and the hotel is a little impatient. I took a long time to find it, why can’t you come to the designated place and take us down like other hotels? The actual distance is only about a hundred meters.
When I came to the hotel, I said that I wanted to accommodate five people, but she even said that I would charge a very unreasonable €200. This price was enough for me to immediately book a slightly smaller room for one more night. Although the system says there are rooms, but the owner said there are no rooms and will not accept my new order, if you can leave immediately if you don’t want stay.
I Immediately booked a €125 room nearby and arranged for two elderly to stay. The other hotel treated us very friendly, even though we were in and out of the hotel room many times.
The bubble pool is not as clean as expected, there is a layer of grease around the pool, and there are small insects on the water surface. There is a coffee maker in the room but no coffee provided.
Our order was for four people, although in the end we were only three people. But the breakfast provided is only for three people.
The requested check-out time is 11am, and we were still having breakfast at 10:30am. elderly came to help us pack our luggage, but when the owner saw them, she immediately shouted them who couldn’t known English. Not allowed in a private place, and then impolitely say “get out!!!!” Seeing that they doesn’t understand, he said to call the police immediately. You must know that there are two elderly people in their seventies, one of whom has inconvenient legs and cannot speak English.
This hotel is very bad and not recommended. There are plenty of friendlier hotel options around. Don’t waste your money here! !

  4. We stayed here a for a few days while we were on our honeymoon.

The view was beautiful and everything was very clean.

The towels were a bit hard ( I assume they air dry it), breakfast a bit poor (I missed some fresh fruit), bathroom a bit outdated and our hot tub was cold when we arrived.

I give it a 3 stars as the owner was kind enough to change the temperature of the hot tub and because it had a spacious room with a nice view, but overall I missed some extras since we were on our honeymoon.
