Amazing beach in remote Iraklia, beautifully located in a sort of cove with an ample white sand beach wild enough to be rated for my taste as superb. It can get wind swept when the Melteni gets going, for me like adding spice to a good dish. Some of my photos are from Paralia at the top of the hill.
Loved the little church there so we got married in it then had the best after party at Nikos restaurant right next door. Unfortunately tho since COVID the restaurant has closed but our church still stands
Very small beach near the restaurant
nudist beach?
From Xylosyrtis it has a flatter but more difficult road, in some places a dirt road. So prefer to come from Chrysostomos.
Small beach with stones consisting of two parts. You go to the second one if you pass by the outside of a house and it has a nice view of the little church. Prefer to come in the afternoon, so that there is shade.
I was incredibly impressed by how clear the water is. I didn’t find any coffee shop or food (July 3), but Xylosyrtis is 10 minutes away.
There is a small space for parking and a water tap
