This is one of the most magical places I have ever stayed. The views are incredible, stunning is a better word! I stayed in studio one which has an incredible view of the caldera and the town! Every morning I woke up to fresh bread delivered to my room! I would go back at a moment’s notice!
We loved our stay at Old Oia Houses. We stayed in Studio II and we had a private balcony with a beautiful view of the caldera and the houses of Oia. We had fresh bread delivered each morning and we enjoyed a relaxing coffee on the balcony. The location is perfect…in the middle of town but tucked away from the midday crowds. Very convenient to restaurants and shops. We also loved the restaurant that this family owns, Lotza….delicious, with a terrific view over the blue domes. Emily, William, and Gill were wonderful to deal with and very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
The best place to stay in Oia! The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views from the balcony. The roofterrace is a big bonus and Emily, the host, is super friendly and welcoming.
The interior of the Casa Vecchia I is simple yet very Cycladic/Greek style, we loved it!
And the most import, it doesn’t distract from the main attraction; the stunning view.
The bathroom is recently renovated and is very spacious and comfortable.
Overall, I highly recommend Old Oia Houses for an authentic and enjoyable stay in the most populair part of Santorini.
We recently stayed in Casa Vecchia II house. We absolutely loved it. It had a spectacular view off the balcony, and an even better one from the rooftop. The house was comfortable, clean and spacious. It was great working with Gill and Emily. They were responsive to our questions and needs. One of the best features was no stairs out to the pathway. Very important for me given my age and physical abilities. Inside the house there is a loft with stairs, but we didn’t need it given we had two bedrooms.
I also highly recommend their restaurant in Lotza. Some of the best food we had in Greece. I highly recommend establishment.
Our stay at Old Oia Houses was truly amazing. We stayed at the Casa Vechhia I. This room was beautiful. It had that old charming vibe on how it used to be in the old days. The balcony had the best view over Oia and there’s even a roofterrace which you share with the next door appartment. Though when we were there it was all ours.
The host Emily is super nice lady who’s very helpful and friendly. She even has a list of recommendations for Oia.
The house is right on the centre street so you can do everything by foot.
