Kythira, also known by the oldest Venetian name Tsirigo, is an island located in Southern Greece, in the south of the Peloponnese and further south of Cavo Malia. An island that nature endowed with unique beauties. Valleys that end up in the sea, mountainsides dressed in green and other rocky and barren, running waters, beautiful beaches, beautiful picturesque villages, local delicacies, architecture that leans on the Venetian style but also on elements of Crete and Mani.
Beautiful island with excellent hospitality and great places and beaches to be. A car is mandatory as there are no public transportation means. A week as a minimum is required to visit all the places.
