Our first chosen meal place for Zakynthos as soon as we arrived which ended up being the best decision!
First of all, the staff team (and by saying team, I mean every single one) made us feel welcomed! It seems it is a family owned restaurant which always is a good sign 🙂
Every dish was fresh and nicely done. The chicken breast of the chicken souvlaki was so juicy and NOT dry at all. The Greek salad was so crunchy that I devoured it in the first 10 minutes waiting for our mains to arrive.
The fish can get a bit oily once it’s cold but a nice cold drink can wash it out 😉
The team made sure we had a great experience and even helped us to grab a cab.
All in all, best team & great food. Definitely recommend!!
The menu changes on a daily basis in this lovely little greek taverna. There are tables inside and outside too. We shared the saganaki. I had the rabbit stew and my lovely wife had roast beef for our mains. A basket of freshly baked bread was also delivered to our table. If you fancy authentic rustic greek food then this is the place for you.

The place was quite full and we were lucky to get seats without prior reservation. Ordered Greek Salad and Grilled lamb with potatoes and they were excellent. The staff were very friendly.

The delicious taste of simplicity. We liked everything we tried: authentic Greek cuisine, based on simple but tasty recipes and the use of good quality, local ingredients. This place is the best proof that you do not need complicated menu lists, fancy meal descriptions and bells and whistles in order to offer culinary delight. On top of the tasty food, we added the cozy atmosphere, the unpretentiously warm and attentive service and the reasonable prices and we ended up enjoying our best meal during our whole stay in Zakynthos.
