I had the opportunity to try the ‘5 set course menu’ as part of the all-inclusive option at the nearby High Beach Hotel. I’m glad I didn’t have to pay as the dishes were below average and no different to the hotel kitchen. They were low standard restaurant course – not a fine-dining experiance at all. I was served exactly the same soup that was for lunch in the hotel canteen this day. The same salad that I was served was for the next day for all guests. Moreover, I was not informed by staff that I would have to pay 26 euros at check-out for the wine, which is free in the hotel canteen. There were no information about the extra charge in menu, nor in any visible place. I consider this outrageous.
The only positive is the AWESOME and smiling staff, the friendly decor and the breathtaking views.
Beautiful location for the sunset, right on the beach. Food was average. Both grilled octopus and grilled shrimp were over cooked. Greek salad, courgettes, and baked feta were good.
